Allison is a Boise State University alum and a legal assistant at Smith + Malek focusing on litigation. She was drawn to our team by our mission to make tomorrow better and the natural connection she felt with the people she met here.

Allison has always been fascinated with how the criminal justice system works. Going into college, she knew she wanted to make a positive impact on the system and people’s lives. A career in law seemed like the best way to do both! Her goal is to become an attorney.

During college, Allison served as the Risk Reduction and Education Chairman and the Retreat Coordinator for her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, helping to create a fun and safe environment for everyone. She honed her detail-oriented skills and learned to enjoy the logistics around contracts. She was also the Director of Fundraising and the Director of Stewardship for Dance Marathon at Boise State University. In this role, she became an outspoken advocate for the children from St. Luke’s whom the fundraiser served. Through this experience, Allison cultivated an appreciation for all the minor details and hard work that goes into a major fundraising event while keeping an eye on the big picture.

Outside of work, Allison likes to hike, bake, watch movies and hang with her bunny, Hercules. She loves the energy of New York City and never tires of visiting it. Betty White’s philanthropy and trailblazing strides in the entertainment industry are an inspiration to Allison. If she weren’t working in law, Allison would be a high school teacher.
