Kimberly represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate and business transactions. Utilizing her organizational leadership experience, Kimberly guides clients through forming their businesses and managing day-to-day concerns. In the real estate arena, Kimberly represents clients on matters concerning ownership and use of real estate, including purchase and sale negotiations, construction contracts, lease agreements, easements and restrictive covenants, title disputes, and mechanic’s lien proceedings.
Prior to joining Smith + Malek, Kimberly dedicated her career to public service. She served as a prosecutor in both California and Idaho, and represented Idaho’s largest municipal corporation where she specialized in risk management, administrative and regulatory law, and employment and labor law.
Kimberly graduated summa cum laude from Boston University, where she spent a semester studying at Oxford University. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
Kimberly serves as a Commissioner on the Garden City Planning and Zoning Commission and as a member of the Board of Directors for Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Centers.
