Robert “Rob” Luce is an attorney based in our Boise office. With a focus on health care, business, and real estate, Rob chose a career in law because he wanted to make a difference. At Smith + Malek, our mission to make tomorrow better is accomplished through dedicated attorneys like Rob who want to make a difference in the lives of our clients. Rob is licensed to practice law in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
To date, his biggest career accomplishment is serving as the administrator of Family and Children Services for the state of Idaho and serving as the City Attorney for Boise. Rob has also volunteered his time through programs like the Saint Alphonsus Project Haiti and Life’s Kitchen in Boise. He was responsible for arranging, facilitating, and finalizing the adoptions of more than 35 Haitian orphans. The first two were his sons, Parker and Patrick.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, Betsy – the person he admires most – and his two boys. You can often find him skiing, golfing, traveling, and restoring historic cottages.
